ALIYA TECHNICAL INSTITUTE-ITC

This is  managed by The Chemnad Aliya Arabic College Committee, a registered charitable educational society formed for the educational, cultural and moral development of the people. Ever since its establishment in 1941, the society has been rendering valuable service in different fields of education.

The courses provided by Aliya Technical Institute are under the Craftsman Training Scheme which was introduced by the Govt. of India to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the industries and to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employment training.

        All courses are affiliated to NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training), Govt. of India and are recognized by State Govt.

                After completion of the training the trainees can appear for All India Trade Test, and “NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE” will be issued to successful trainees by NCVT Govt. of India.

DETAILS OF THE COURSE

1. ELECTRONIC MECHANIC
2. DRAUGHTSMAN CIVIL

Duration: Two Years (Full Time Course)

No. of Seats: 19 for general and 2 for SC/ST candidates

ELIGIBILITY

1. Minimum Qualification: - SSLC pass/ Equivalent
2. Age: Candidates for training should be between 15 and 40 years of age as on the day the admission session stars (1^st August) or as modified by the Director of Training Thiruvananthapuram from time to time.
3. Physical Fitness: - The candidate should be physically fit and free from contagious diseases.

APPLICATION, SELECTION AND ADMISSION

1. Application form carefully filled in along with attested true copies of S.S.L.C/Equivalent qualifying certificate T.C, C.C and other documents should reach the office of the ITC on or before the last date specified. The Institute is not responsible for the loss in transit of such application.
2. Marks secured in S.S.L.C / Qualifying Exams in Mathematics, Science and English will be considered for an interview for final selection. Parent or Guardian should accompany the candidate at the time of interview.
3. 10% of the seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates
4. Selection list will be published on the ITC notice board and also the candidates will be informed by post. Selected candidates should hand over the S.S.L.C.Book TC, CC and other qualifying certificates in original to the principal at the time of admission. The original certificate will be returned to the trainee only when he/she leaves the institute after clearing of all his dues.
